Der Antibakterielle Medizinische Honig besteht zu 100 % aus Medihoney™ Antibakteriellem Honig (standardisierte Honigmischung) und ist prinzipiell für alle Wundarten geeignet, besonders für tiefe und schlecht zugängliche Wunden, z. B. Fistelgänge und Wundtaschen. Wenn dieses Produkt mit der Wunde und Körpertemperatur in Kontakt kommt, verflüssigt es sich etwas und läuft in jede Ritze der Wunde, um dort seine Wirkung zu entfalten. Die beim Verbandwechsel verbleibenden Reste in der Wunde werden mit der Zeit vom Körper resorbiert.
